Accessibility statement

ASPI welcomes all people, including people with disabilities and people with individual access needs.

ASPI will provide reasonable accommodations when requested with advance notice (typically 2–4 weeks depending on need). Access requests may include ASL interpretation, large-type or digital materials, physical access support, and social narratives (descriptions of physical, sensory, and social spaces).

We are also committed to reducing financial barriers to participation when possible through free public workshops, sliding-scale options for some fee-based activities, and fair compensation for facilitators and project leaders.

Accessibility plans

Based on our legacy accessibility planning work, we continue to focus on three practical objectives: include access planning before/during/after programming, clearly mark potential trip or navigation hazards, and maintain a dedicated web page for accessibility information and feedback.

We will continue posting updates as physical-site accessibility work progresses in Mount Vernon and Livingston.
