The purpose of Grow Appalachia is to teach and support the people of Appalachia in addressing the tragedy of hunger in the region by learning to grow their own food to feed themselves.
In 2012, we assisted 33 families in our Grow Appalachia program in both of the community gardens and with home gardens. In 2013, we are expanding our reach! We are looking for new participant families to grow the program. If you have land, we can assist with home gardens. If you don't, many community garden plots are available for use!
